ADOPTABLE ANIMAL SPOTLIGHT
SKYE
Skye is a gentle soul who is ready to find a family to call her own.
This sweet girl wants nothing more than to be loved. She can be shy and nervous when meeting new people, so she is looking for a patient family willing to give her the time and encouragement she needs to build confidence and blossom into the amazing dog she is. Underneath her timid exterior is a smart, friendly pup who just needs someone to believe in her.
Check out Skye’s video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist…
Skye does great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with. While she does not currently live with young children, we suspect she would do well with respectful kids. She has moderate energy, enjoys short walks, loves playing with balls, and is always happy to settle down with a good bone to chew.
Skye is:
*Spayed
*Up to date on vaccinations
*Microchipped
*Dog friendly (with both big and small dogs)
If you’re interested in meeting Skye, please fill out an application and a BWR volunteer will reach out.
All BWR dogs come with complimentary group or private training to help ensure a successful adoption.

DEMI UPDATE
Happy Tails for Demi!
Demi’s journey started when she entered the shelter severely neglected and in desperate need of medical care.
She had a rectal prolapse and double entropion (inverted eyelids), requiring urgent surgery. Her ears were in heartbreaking condition and were so severely damaged that she ended up needing double TECA-BO surgeries to relieve the pain. On top of everything else, she also had a mass that was found to be cancerous and needed to be removed and battled skin infections. Her medical care total was just over $20,000.
A HUGE shoutout to Sidewalk Angels for helping support Demi through her medical journey.
And if you’ve ever wondered what your monthly donation can do, this is it.
We are so happy that Demi is getting her happy ending – she has been officially adopted by her foster family. Congratulations Demi!!!
